What standard is this? People keep throwing this out there like dudes are catching hell. Harden got an MVP and has been top 5 for like 7 straight years and has some of the most
playoff performances in recent memory and that shyt gets glossed over almost immediately. Only time I remember him catching any real heat is when the Spurs ran his squad off the court at the crib with Kawhi out. Even then it didn't follow him like that. Next season it was right back to "wow look at those numbers" while he was cheesing yet another regular season. Giannis just got punked by Kawhi and Jimmy back to back years in very winnable series if he plays like a back to back MVP and current DPOY. Overwhelming narrative is "will he stay or will he go" not him getting shyt on for his glaring deficiencies. All the pressure is being applied to Milwaukee to put more around him after he was a non factor in the 4th quarter and sat idly by and let Jimmy eat the big piece of chicken while fingering his wife. Kawhi was being compared to Jordan, choked away a 3-1 lead and not only has he not caught shyt for it, the likes of Doc, PG, and even TrezL and other role players have caught more. I don't get it. Do people just want Dame to get shyt on just because? Are they mad because he gets justifiable attention when he goes on insane scoring sprees or sends the likes of Harden and Howard or Russ and PG home with killer shots? What are we really looking for here?

He was in the CF last year, more recently than Harden. He lost to the Lakers this year and GSW last year. What year are we talking about where he was supposed to go farther than he did?

Yes you have people that have said things about them but the overriding narrative wasn't that. PG caught more hell than anyone who has been discussed in this thread this summer.
