i'm literally not. i dont think he's the guy, and he will NEVER be the guy. He will give some nice reg season performances, but he will never get to the finals. Not as the number 1 option

Steph has already done that. and he has personally outclassed Damian lillard. Thats why steph is better.

I haven't been able to get clear, consistent answers on said standard and the consequences for failing to meet said standard...especially when you are already saying he's not on the level to begin with.

Yea we might as well just end it on this one. I don't consider Dame elite, some do. For the ones that do hold him to an elite standard, he needs to start achieving what a PG who i consider elite, Steph Curry, has achieved. That's what i'm saying. If you don't think that's possible or even something he can get close to doing, then maybe people need to not call him elite. The standard as many have said, is damn near make it to the finals or it's a bust season. Nobody cares about what Giannis, Bron, Kawhi, KD, Steph, Harden does anymore in the reg season; they're now judged by what they do in the playoffs. That's the standard i'ma hold Dame too if y'all call him elite.

right, you've been consistent with your point since page 1 but nikkaz wanna be obtuse. Now I ask him is Dame elite and now he can't answer that. Harden and Giannis are elite to me and they haven't gotten over the hump or even made the finals and everytime they fall short, me and along with EVERYONE else on this board give them nikkaz ALLLLLLL the smoke. How many "Giannis is Tyrus Thomas with a Greek passport" type of thread or comments was thrown around when Miami beat them? But when Dame loses in the playoffs, it's "stop picking on him, he's not suppose to ever win a title".
