I'd like it more if these dudes were crisp with it. Gone are the Eddie's and ******'s and :hitgoat: who were completely fluid with their reversal technique.
I hardly watch anymore but it just seems ridiculous and part of the reason I don't watch anymore. Sometimes it legitimately feels like you are watching the same match over and over again with the only difference being the finishers being used
The formula was pretty much invented by Austin vs Rock. They did a mild version of it at WM 15, then took it to the next level at 17 and that's been the blue print for WWE epic ever since. Now it's just the WWE style period and people will do it even if they aren't capable of doing it. WWE shows basically have become giant PWG shows, where everyone is going full blast every match on the card and the crowd gets burned out after an hour. Hard to give a shyt about the 8th dive of the night.

Yeah the wrestlers nowdays are better athletes and live better lifestyles, off camera, than at any other point in Pro Wrestling history...
BUT
What I want to know is WTF are Arn, Malenko & Finlay doing in their roles as Senior agents/producers and excellent workers in their inring days to allow the product to get so spammy. Or have I misunderstood what the role of the agent/producer is.
Yeah, can't deny that.
Kurt Angle also took it to the next level by doing the same formula but adding more pace and spots to it.
I guess my point was that after Mania 26 the WWE Epic became more of a regular thing than a special one.

I'm a massive AJ fan but his match with Cena at SummerSlam is the perfect example
at Daniel Bryan having the type of match he had against Cena in 2013. He's the only one that was able to reign him in after the Punk feud.
