If they feel it is not enough black men adhering to the standards they've set to go around, dating interracially or becoming a Lesbian works as well. Why waste time when there's someone out there that will give you what you want/need/deserve in life.
The problem is that white people have us fukked up trying to be like them. Instead of seeing how miserably they are failing at it, we still continue to try and structure our relationships and lives after theirs. Sorry, it's not going to work. Black women are less likely to find a black man that is able to support her financially just as black men are less likely to find a black woman that will cater to his every need.
We need to focus on establishing solid friendships and trust among each other through understanding before we move to intimate relationships vs comparing our behavior in relationships to that of other races. We don't have the same experience. We are not them. Our relationships suffer because we aren't friends with each other and don't know how to be.

Like it or not, Jake has more opportunity to make $45k than Darius does...in a corporate setting. Also Jake is probably at the lowest rung of the ladder among his peers, where as Darius making $45k is going to be considered doing well among his peers which may leave him with less ambition to want to make more. This is why we need to scrap the idea that ties a man's worth to his salary.
