I'll admit, I failed the test to get in the class once and I failed the test to land the job once. But that was because I literally took those tests after being out of school for 2+ years. The hardest part was the Algebra section, it involved a lot of fractions on my test. It's just your basic standardized test consisting of Reading,Math, Science...don't remember what the last section was for. I actually found the link for the test http://www.act.org/compass/student/ . I think I took one before I got to colege tho, would i have to take another one to get into the program?

And if im not mistaking, most of these programs are less than one calender year right?

Yes but you have to go through the local colleges because that's where the courses are done. And I can't get in to my local college.

1st, you lied and said that those schools don't "exist" in your world, whatever the fukk that means..then you come back and say yes they do, but local colleges control them...so you lied there

2nd, when reading through the info, it says that they make you take a key skills or functional skills tests, so its not just the local colleges that control the apprenticeship schools that don't exist in your world this should be your new avatar for real

Before you were trying to get on courses which you weren't qualified for. You don't need ANYTHING for a trade.

Tell them you want to learn a TRADE. They accept 14 year olds FFS.

All you need to be able to do is breath, they accept anyone.

Walk in and say I want to become a '.........', I have no GCSE'S and I want to start an apprenticeship.

The class I took lasted 4 hours a day, 2 days a week, for over 4 months. So I was able to keep a job while I was taking the class.

You're not being truthful. Every black person in the UK (I also grew up there) knows that vocational schools exist, where do you think all these carpenters, carpet people, flooring, electrician, plumbers go and learn their trade ? @DaRealness is also from the UK and can confirm you can do a traineeship or apprenticeship to become a plumber you don't need to know someone, they are normal schools just like colleges and universities.

They're equivalent to a GCSE and you don't need a GCSE for them. They're called a 'Technical certificate'
