I got a DUI. In NC the legal limit is .08. When doing a breathalyzer test they make you do it twice for testing purposes. The first time I blew under the legal limit .07 but the second time I blew .08 which called for an arrestI was stopped for speeding (58 in a 35) and they found a little weed in the car.
I can get the weed expunged and a prayer for judgement on the speeding ticket but coli brehs yall know anything about this whole DUI process? Lawyer told me a couple things im gonna have to do

If it's your first time, get a good lawyer and have him try to drop it to at least reckless driving. Blew a .10 when I was 22 and dumb AF. Paid 3k for lawyer, he got it reduced to lane infraction, 500 fine, community service, 1 year restricted license. You gotta pay one way or another but you slipped and gotta eat that L.

DUI? Smh I feel like that's one of the most shameful charges to get considering drunk drivers kill people often.
