I agree Beyoncé didn’t do sh1t for jay except shock people that he pulled her.

Kim on the other hand elevated Kanye. Their case is the perfect example of the saying “if he can do it....so can I”.

Ray J coulda been Kanye had he had some common sense.
You guys complain about whores day in and day out but glorify the biggest whore of all. Kim Kardashian is a giant waste of space and the status her family has is the worst aspect of modern celebrity. An airhead bytch with a rich daddy who made a name for herself making porno with a D-list singer elevated Kanye?

I’m going on 40

so at this point marriage is what it is

I always said no matter what I wouldn’t get married till I’m over 42

i lost two relationships because I told the women I wasn’t getting married till I’m over 40

it is what it is

thanks Derek Jeter for showing me the way

I don’t feel that way :skip:

I always thought it was a spiritual and emotional union that should last a lifetime. Well at least thats what I was taught. Couldn’t imagine creating a whole family and life with someone and thinking of it as “business”. smh

Why get the government involved if it's not a business

Shouldn't need a license for a spiritual and emotional connection :francis:

If you feel that way then :yeshrug: me and my husband don’t. We’re definitely more traditional. Also I’ve always felt that men that use that “we don’t need the government” bs are just trying to use you. Like if you don’t plan to leave, then what’s the issue?

Any married men thoughts on this?

Not trying to attack, I’m just legit curious
If brehs are with someone they want to take it to the next level with then present your credit reports to eachother. Have conversations on where you want to be in life and what is important to you. Preferably you should talk these things before having sex.

Marriage has been good for me. Made me actually become a stable person and think about the future.

I agree on all this stuff. I just don't think that people even understand the weight of that type of conversation until they're in their late 20s more times than not.

I've seen some coworkers legit question everything because they never had the conversation about the costs of childcare, career priorities (If I get my masters, will you carry the financial burden? If you get a great job, will I move with you? stuff), what settling down even means to each other.

Most people don't know and haven't even thought about it. The one thing that I actually liked about the military was that you HAD to confront your short and long term career goals on a quarterly basis. These civilians out here just reckless because its easy and mentally convenient :dead:

I think they can if they advised by people they trust early on.
