Mike Dean is dope but the answer is definitely Quik.

Quik's ear for mixing is second only to Dre (even that's debateable.)

Quik has 2 of the best mixed hiphop albums of all time with safe + Sound and Rhythmalism.

Mike Dean might be a better musician but as a producer or mixing engineer, he ain't touching quik.Very few can.

Just listen to all the Quik's Groove instrumentals. The musicality on that is insane. Especially when it's all done by one man.

Agreed for the most part but don't forget Quik surrounds himself with some dope musicians like Robert Bacon and Roger Troutman RIP. He aint just in there dolo but he definitely is the visionary behind the whole thing

Usually if your punching someone in you are also doing the full mix. Bonus point if you produced the product tho.

So IMO. Dr. Dre, mixed by Ali has produced some too, 40 snd Yung guru are also honorable mentions
