So tactically, what can the Cavs do to defeat the Warriors?

Slowing down the game won't matter because soon as GS get in transition Cavs gonna use all their coli cash on fouls.. GS will be at the foul line early..

Slow the game down and the GS goons will thrive i.e. Zaza, west, dray and Barnes

The fact that GSW didn't play well is my only concern

This shyt could get ugly

Kyrie can't have an off night

CLE can't be off or it's over

Contest shots, especially at the rim. Clean up those TOVs - you just can't have 16 more than the other team. Factor that with them only outboarding the W's by 9. If you're giving the W's about 7 or so extra possessions, it's a wrap.

Then too, the Cavs lost by 22 with Klay going 3-16 with zero 3s and the W's blowing, what, 8-9 layups? I don't know, man.

Even so, sticking with my original pick (CLE in 6). Betting anything Bron doesn't have twice as many TOVs as the entire W's team in G2, I'll say that much.

Tomorrow night should be very interesting.

1.Lebron needs to go into attack mode, which I believe he will for the rest of the series. It was a close game in the 1st quarter.Mainly due to Lebron being aggressive. He took 8 ft's in the 1st quarter alone.

2.Kyrie needs to be aggressive without taking quick, low percentage shots.

3.Limit the turnovers

4.Rebound the basketball

5.Lebron,Kyrie and Daron should play faster in transition, but not the rest of the team,if that makes any sense. All 3 players a capable of getting easy baskets in transition.

6.Role players,Role players,Role players need to step up(Thompson,Smith,Korver)

7.Force Green to make shots.

8,Talk to the officials before the game about the antics of Iggy,Green & ZaZa(hooking arms, slaps on the wrist, pulling jerseys)
Bron drove 21 times. I'd say that's being plenty aggressive :pachaha:

Bench love

might need to start Jefferson again:dead:

Derrick Williams is the 2nd best athlete in the team. He needs to be playing this series with all the athletes the warriors have.

To me there is no defense that is going to stop curry, kd, and klay. I think you have to pick two to focus on and live with whatever the other does.

Have you seen draymonds shooting percentages?

Forcing zaza to beat you isn't a legit option. If the cavs do that the warriors will just bench zaza

They not benching draymond

They left him wide open in a game 7 and he dropped 30. He can step up to the plate if it's urgent and the Cavs know that

True, but that's one game out of 7

Teams dare him to shoot all the time and they live with his conversion rate

He's not a good shooter

They will get smoked trying to run with Golden State.
That's the risk they have to deal with. I never said that attacking GS early doesn't place them in any kind of peril, just that it's the best option if they hope to win. Attacking the Warriors defense at its least strongest state makes the light at the end of their tunnel visible - it may be dim - but at least it'll be in view.
