So the last 7 games, Cam Newton has...

Cam is a good QB, not a great QB like everyone wanted him to be but good QB nonetheless.
he's shown that with weapons he's good and he's show without weapons that he is just good.

Can't blame folks for pointing it out. But the caping for this dude is unreal.

just admit that your favorite player didn't turn in to the great player you hoped he would have

He aint even really that good.

If you're middle of the league every year and never won a thing, is that really good.

He is an average qb who happens to be exciting at times

I'm a Fins fan, of course I watch a ton of AFC East football.

I get what you're saying, it goes both ways though. Just as Buffalo's D puts their offense is favorable positions, Orton isn't making the same dumb ass mental errors that Cam is, turning the ball over in his own side of the field and putting his defense right back on the field in their own territory.

But again, keep riding for the dude that has been terrible this year.

Kyle Orton is also one of the big reasons the Bills haven't scored at TD in 7 consecutive quarters. Also, Orton is very immobile as well, many instances that has been a detriment to the Bills offensively

I never said it was YOU specifically, but read through this thread, and other online posts about dude and it would almost seem like Cam was being treated worse than other dudes in the same class as him because he's a certain color.

don't pretend like there isn't an agenda going on here
I'm pushing an agenda? Ever think you introduce things on your own?

I agree, I think he is a decent QB. but he is still young and has shown flashes that he can still be better.
I get that his team doesn't have very many options on offense this year (I am not giving him any excueses though)

But I think he is still just a good QB(his talent makes him a bit better than average)

What's pointed out was a lack of continuity in offensive line play. Failure at other parts of the offense usually go hand in hand with shuffling of this magnitude. Exactly why do you care about what everyone else "feels" when that was never the point being made until you introduced it?

@HacksawJimThuggin @Peter Vecsey @AVXL and others are having a fruitful discussion and aren't even on the "blackness" of Cam in our disagreements yet you're forcing that in here.

That's on you.

You pointing out Austin Davis, stuff like that is the shyt people love to ignore.

They`ll make a million excuses for certain guys, their favorites, but when you bring something like that up, people scatter like roaches

It was brought up that the Rams o line play is better. Are you blind or are you on some buddy thing?

You didn't introduce a single counter point in this discussion.

What is it about some white posters that go "thread poster observers"

You can be dense and obtuse all day....And if you want to be on some nikka hating shyt and give 100% of the blame to CAM, that's fine...But your logic is fugazi..

Bringing up Austin Davis like his arm aint Chad Pennington status.....

Fisher a fraud anyway

I'm not giving 100% of the blame to Cam, I realize his supporting cast is weak. However, I AM willing to give him at least a decent amount of the blame, as a good QB typically raises the level of play of those around him. As a QB, it can't always be everyone else's fault. As the leader of the team and the only guy that touches the ball on every single offensive snap, you shoulder some of the burden by default.

And that's actually my point. If sorry ass third-stringer Austin Davis can put up similar numbers as Cam with comparable supporting cast, then Cam needs to play a lot better. It's as simple as that.

I actually feel like that's Cam's biggest issue right now. No one really holds him accountable like that and the finger is rarely pointed at him, as far as from coaches, players, GM, etc. It's allowed him to get away with poor mechanics at times and has stunted his growth. Dude is a physical specimen with all the talent in the world, he should be a top 7 QB in the league right now.

As a Fins fan, I can tell you the biggest difference this year with Tannehill has been Bill Lazor. He's held Tannehill accountable from day 1 and said exactly where he needs to improve and that he wasn't yet good enough, even to the media. Probably also why Foles had been playing like trash this year too, after Lazor left there in the offseason. From the few Eagles games that I watched, it seemed like he was throwing off his back foot a lot and just doing things that good coaching helps prevent.

I think everyone is missing the point on this.. Like I've said before, there is criticism, and then there is unfair criticism. There is a lot that CAM has to work on, however, for him to shoulder the lionshare of the blame for Carolina's ills is completely unfair.

I think people just want him to have a fair shot at being in that 5-10(2nd tier of good QBs)

Cam's just not as good a player as you all wish him to be.

Misses too many throws he should be making(too often he sails them), not knowing where his outlets are when there's a blitz, and not taking what defenses are giving him (partly because he doesn't read defenses all that well).

But let's blame the GM and coaches who's jobs are on the line for purposely undermining their QB:russ:
