But i could care less if she makes the same amount of money i do. It’s definitely not a bonus, nor is it a disqualifier. But as @Hennessypapi said there is usually a mentality that comes with career driven, high earning women. And that issue is only exacerbated when it comes to black women who are unfortunately often raised by single mothers and thus dont know how to follow a mans lead.

All things equal, give me the high earner. But in reality give me the girl who makes 60K and is agreeable over the girl who makes 125k and is high maintenance and a rival. I could turn the 60k chick into a six figure chick anyways with my connections and guidance.

This mentality is why the black community is the way it is. I don’t ever see other men act like women earning money is bad. Ever.

Instead of thinking of the FUTURE, your LEGACY, your CHILDREN, their educational prospects…you are more concerned about the idea of a “disagreeable high earning woman”.
