you're right that was a clear movementIt DEFINATELY went From Rock to Brock, what came after that is whatever, but it was Rock to pass the torch to Brock

idk where you'd fit in HHH...i just don't see it considering those other movements were pretty linear
Bruno was a diffrent era,,,,Backlund and Andre were NEVER his backupsBruno (Backlund, Andre as backup)
Hogan (Savage and Warrior as backup)
Bret (HBK, Diesel, Taker as backup)
Austin/Rock (HHH, Lesnar, SD! 6 as backup)
Cena (Batista, Jeff, Edge, Orton, Bryan, Punk as backup)

During the height of the brand split I would argue that Triple H was 'the one' on RAW while completely unrelated shyt went about in Smackdown, where Taker was definitely the man.
If i were to create a LINEAGE of being 'the one'...not 'a top guy'...but THE GUY...it would look like this. And hogan is there twice purposefully beacuse between manias IV and V, savage WAS the one, until hogan got the belt back.

I don't think at any point anyone sniffs these guys as being the face of the company, agreed?
