You can have fun at a party but it's silly to pretend like human interaction is something simple and arbitrary when nothing is further from the truth. There's an explanation for every behavior we do, "i just do it for fun" is an explanation but it's a summarized explanation for people who don't care to or are unable to articulate the "why".

One of the prerequisites at all the house parties I've thrown. I'll turn off the music if I see anyone on theirs. I give them back towards the end

Yes, and not paying attention to anything around them. People getting hit by cars cuz they're too busy tweeting walking into oncoming traffic. People walkint into walls and othe rpoeple on malls with their heads down. Go to a restaurant and people are on their phones taking pictures of the food and posting it. People lacking social skills cuz they're too busy typing everything. Got these young people at work that would rather chat than walk over and ask you a question.

Social media has helped in a lot of ways but has fukked a lot of things up. It's undeniable.

getting separated from the group you came with and doing your own thing only to link up with them later on some "you wouldn't believe what I got into..." shyt was awesome. glad I came up when I did

I think its funny these days to see groups of people out, acting wild and acting like shyt is popping off in front of their phone, only to sit back down and be silent the rest of the night (on their phones) after the photo-op has ended. im not anti social media at all but hearing grown men talk about how lit their snap is or seeing men jockeying for position for a photo is really corny. I don't think people see the irony

Pretty much, myself included. There's just a line drawn in the sand between the last generation and this one that keeps getting bigger and bigger. The line is time.

I don't snap, I don't gram, hell I don't even Facebook. That's more of a personality thing. I keep it private for no other reason than I don't feel the need to share everything. Maybe it's a byproduct of being around people who did too much dirt. I dunno and don't care
