It is relevant because the former friend is a key witness to this whole thing. She was there and she knows what happened and why it happened. If Meg grabbed the gun in a wild drunken rage as some have suggested that completely changes everything.
But if Tory really did pull out the gun and start shooting for whatever reason then he's dumb as fukk and has to do the time.

The charges require intent. That's why all this is relevant. If intent cannot be proven then a jury should rule to find the defendant not guilty.
Well that friend has not made an official statement and Tory has not been forthcoming in his version of the events. There could be other reasons for why they arent cool no more, finding out that your best friend is sleeping with your partner is a good reason to not fukk with that person anymore.
Only person that has come out with a straightforward cut and dry version of the events is Megan, and her version of the events lines up with every detail that's come out so far.
If megan grabbed his gun(which he shouldn't have had in the first place) in a drunken rage, then the shyt was an honest accident, but not a single person with first hand knowledge of the events has come out and stated that is what happened.

Only way you would hear their detailed explanations of what happened is if charges were brought and now charges have been brought. They aren't going to probably detail what happened over Twitter but it will come out in court.

The video is long, but the gist of it is that he believes Meg and wants Tory punished to the fullest extent. If the truth turns out to be that Tory didn't shoot Meg, then Willie D is going to be one of the many that will look like the biggest fool.

Considering Meg is not that badly hurt calling for imprisionment way more passionately than Meg did is sus as hell especially coming from a alledged "militant".

The charging docs seem iffy on him actually shooting meg. If a bullet broke glass which Meg stepped on that's malicious wounding. But it's not technically shooting someone.
