This nikka's father taught him nothing. He had no real passion for anything or business savvy. nikka went to school got his B.S., got his Master's, and spent five years as a glorified assistant. He wanted a career in sports management but lacked the drive to ever be anything close to that. He just didn't have that focus or hunger. Always had straight A's, but ultimately he was a follower. He needed railroad tracks in life. A syllabus or mission statement telling him what to do, how to do it, and when to do it. He ultimately gave up the one job that at least was in the sport's industry once he realized he didn't have the sauce

This is why I'm worried about having kids. My father didn't teach me shyt either and he is always trying a "get rich quick" scheme (latest is bitcoins).

The hell am I going to teach them? Do better than me? I can only pass down what not to do, maybe that is enough. I dunno :francis:

Honestly, you better be sending your boys to boys’ schools during the crucial school years. Co-ed schools cater more towards girls’ learning. Been saying this since I left the boys’ schools I grew up going to.

They freely trot this “girls are smarter and more mature than boys” nonsense from young, and people let that nonsense sink in. I remember a teacher saying that in class once and I was :dahell: while the dipshyts were all :ohhh:

Black shea butter intersectional feminist on twitter are calling this study sexist..............because, patriarchy, that's why.
https://www.theroot.com/new-researc...source=theroot_facebook&utm_medium=socialflow

They claim that the study excluded black females(which it didn't), as if they're aren't already plenty bodies of research, studies, initiatives that focus on black females specifically.

And they're also, claiming that black women are the ones who're double discriminated against and have it worse than black men, because............well, patriarchy, of course. fukk having to substantiate those claims with actual data and analysis. Who needs it when you have a bunch of superficial intersectional slogans, buzz words, and a widely accepted mainstream feminist narrative at your disposal. If you don't agree, that's misogynoir. Simple.

Boys cannot be raised as a whole by women, without fathers you are sabotaging young boys.

Marriage is the foundation of civilization, you cannot have 70% of your population raised by single households. You are not a people, you are a mob.

White people control 90% of the wealth on this country. They can survive low marriage rates, black people cannot. Just look at the numbers, children of single households do worse in literally every category.

You want to beat white supremacy? Marry black and stay married.

White folks really get their kids to buy into the concept of legacy, and their patriarchy has been strong because of it. :manny:
This is such bullshyt. You are giving white folks way too much credit. I hate when nikkas (assuming you are black) try to denigrate black fatherhood and prop up white parents. White folks spend no more quality time with their kids than black parents who live with their kids. Some of the most fukked up, dysfunctional family situations that I know about occur in upper middle class white families. To prop up white parenthood while ignoring the inherent built in advantages for white people that this country has brutally cultivated over hundreds of years is crazy.

nikka who is talking about white family dynamics IN DETAIL. Sure, we all know white folks with trash families. Look how many of them there are-- it's a percentage game though. We're talking about successful blacks and whether we're properly grooming our children. Please don't derail the topic going off on a tangent.

Question, does anyone believe we (as in black men) should create more separate organization/ learning institutions that support black males as whole to combat this problem? Because, it seems like only we know the remedy to curing this problem and have a better idea on how to tackle it than people outside our group.

I don't know if this was posted, but Tone talks broke this article down, and shows why its not a well done study. He even made them change the title, that shows how strong he is with the facts!

The black guy they show is African, and white, he doesn't come from descendants of slaves which is something big when having this discussion since a lot of Africans come from well to do families, and some also have white privilege if they have a white parent. If you are black, chances are you were in debt when you got that big check, so you are paying them loans off. You have family you are helping, since we come from a legacy of being at the bottom due to slavery, and racism.

Whites who are rich usually have a legacy that helps them, so their college is payed for, they don't have to help family members because they come from money already. AND they get loans to build more wealth. All these people we think did things themselves usually came from money, and got huge money to star their business from family.

Tone talks, and Yvette Carnell are the only ones who break down the actual data of how things are, everyone else just talk about theories, and how they THINK things are. Claude Anderson is good to, but he deals mostly with the past, he doesn't go in depth on current situations like those two do.

He breaks all of this down in the video, and touches on things most don't even think about because we just don't want to acknowledge the place we are in right now, as black americans.

American society has disincentivized fatherhood.

From intersectionality/feminism to government subsidies to women entering the labor force, there are too many alternatives to the nuclear family even if they are ultimately more destructive.

Black men/boys get it the worse because we already threat #1 to White supremacy but men in America are suffering in general due to archaic American laws.

Just looked up the statistic, while acceptance rates are declining at Harvard and other highly competitive academic instutitions, legacy admissions make up 1/3 of each incoming class.

Harvard's incoming freshman class is one-third legacy—here's why that's a problem

Legacy students tend to be wealthy and white, students who, as a group, are already disproportionately represented at college. The New York Times found that, at five Ivy League schools, Dartmouth, Princeton, Yale, Penn and Brown, as well as 33 other colleges, there are more students from families in the top one percent than from the entire bottom 60 percent.

And this is why the elites use black and brown affirmtive action as a smoke and mirror to throw folks off the scent of their legacy clauses because they are essentially an affirmative action for the rich. We need to be serious and vocal about this shyt, if affirmative action is up for debate, then so is legacy admissions.
The video I just linked with tone talk talks about this. Legacy is why whites don't have the issues we have, and plays a big part in this study that isn't dealt with, and that lot of blacks ignore when they think just owning a business is gonna change things. Check it out, he breaks the data down, no talking with how he thinks it is.

The article mentioned Md (Moco and PG i assume), Bx (North BX), and Queens. honestly, if i have kids im going to try to raise them in one of those areas or Long Island
I thought the same thing, but then I had to be honest with myself, it still may not change much for the child when he gets older because most of us are still assed out all over the country, and the way things are going, those places aren't gonna have the "look" they had in the past, because things are getting worse as far as wealth disparity. Parts of Moco will be the same, but I don't think PG will, and definitely not nyc, shyt is changing there right now! People will just give the image of being ok, but they will be living off of credit, even more then they are now! Unless he goes out of his race, he will still have issues.

I still want to raise my kids there(moco or pg) but I can't bullshyt myself, and think things will be like whites for my kids UNTIL black people wake up, and realize we need government to make the big changes by making the game be more fair in competition. I can teach them all the business I want, all the positive character I want, but if the game is still rigged for them to not make it pass being a worker all day in this new gig economy, or be one of the foul people who come up with scams to get rich off the "regular" people, all my teachings meant nothing.

I realize we need to get the government to change how these companies are doing business, they are not playing fair. It's not just blacks who need this all Americans do, but we will suffer the most as our legacy is slavery, and being at the bottom, we were never meant to go pass a certain point, its just we fought and things changed.
