None of this talk has helped and it continues to just drive people the other way.
You can’t cheat the grind breh. It knows how many hours you’ve put in.

At the end of the day 99% of the time it exposes itself. If someone didn’t cut corners they’ll be ok more times than not.

The more actual work into growth someone puts in, the better opportunities one will have.

If people don’t want to hear that then I don’t know what to tell them. They can keep stomping their feet then I guess.

Again words are all well and good but reality is telling a different story. This mentality isn't working. Young men don't seem to want to get a good degree because of the debt that those incur. So what's the solution there?

Young people got:
- Computers in their pockets.
- Access to YouTube and education about nearly any topic.

Figure that shyt out, honestly. You’re getting smoked by people in poor countries who are taking advantage of modern technology using nothing but their brains, paper and a pencil.

There’s a 5% chance that you were born in America and people complaining.

Stop being spoiled.
Why would someone do that? People say things like this, that do have validity, without consideration for reality and logic. If I am spoiled and coddled why would I chose to do things the hard way? Nobody chooses that.

This is stuff that fathers teach their sons. And sons dont like it while they are learning. Sons would gladly avoid it if it were an option. So if a person has been able to avoid it, its not realistic to expect them to do it just because.

A good degree, like some STEM degree will pay out the debt over time and still be left with bigger paydays from their 30’s (or 40’s) on.

Look, five years will be here one way or another (June 4, 2030). You can either have a good degree (or learn highly valuable skills) by that time or not.

Those aren’t words, that’s real life. That’s how time works.

We need to stop talking about "men" like we're all the same.

Black American men have had to deal with bullshyt since 1619. That's a REAL struggle where we've made progress in some ways and fallen behind in other ways.

What these talking heads are discussing isn't relevant to BLACK MEN.....when they say "men", they mean white boys who have been spoiled and have zero giddyup about them.

The white BOYS have fallen behind the white women because they're used to being slackers and bullshytting their way to a nice house, decent looking wife and a good job. They gotta scrap and get it out the mud like everyone else. Rather than doing that and pulling themselves up by their bootstraps.....they are having a temper tantrum. They want to Handmaid's Tale the system and drag everyone DOWN to their level. They don't want to level up and compete....they want everyone else kneecapped and the laws adjusted to give them more of a structural advantage than they already have.

Anyone disagreeing with me is an agent/ofay infiltrating this site with right wing propaganda.
Repped!

The alignment to whiteness is crazy

Then live with their choices if they choose to do nothing and not have much to show for.

I don’t want to hear the complaining then.

Like I just said in a post a few minutes ago: five years from now will get here (June 4, 2030). Whether you have something to show for after five years or not, that’s primarily on you.

Facts…Entitled, hate working, haven’t put in the work, and loud with their complaints.
Why ask “why they checked out” when they haven’t did much to “check in”.

Straight the fukk up.

I know challenges and circumstances get in the way. However, a lot of times people let small shyt and annoying inconveniences stop them or get distracted and dive into time-wasting activities.

People who genuinely put in the work, did what needed to be done (without being a snake), didn’t cut corners and were undeterred don’t often end up in a bad spot. It’s the people who genuinely didn’t put in the work that find themselves upset at everything.

Yeah in those times they had to 'check in' because thats all there was, but now young nikkas have too many vices that they don't have to 'check in' and be boxed in to follow a certain path. For the most they're actually productive with their time and aren't too flustered about getting any, like proceeding generations.

The people who are putting in the work aren’t complaining but definitely disappointed by those who chose to not put in the works (it could be not voting, voting for Trump, being lazy, etc).

This thread is “woe is me” lead to the proud boys, asian anti-affirmation action groups, incels, etc. Majority of those groups decided to vote for Trump. This is exactly what they wanted.

I mean are we putting qualifiers on that or are we talking any old job?
Any old job. If you can work less and still be able to support a family great. I suppose there should be some qualifiers on family size and other things but providing basic family needs shouldn't be an issue if someone works that much.

Exactly, people wanting to bypass the grind and hoping “policy” bails them out.

This is how grifters get paid. They convince everyone all they need to do is give them money because they know people don’t want put in work.
