It's easy for me to say that I would have the abortion, and that would be my answer. However if I'm extremely far along in my pregnancy, I'm talking late second trimester, third trimester, I might as well go on and deal with it. Even as a hypothetical, too many variables come into play.

Exactly, that is one of the biggest things when you have a special needs child. Who else is going to have your patience? You hear about adults being abused all the time. Even at those special needs adult day cares. It's like having the worries you would of an infant for 30, 40, 50+ years. My friends brother died a few years ago, he was in his early 30's and honestly I know it was a relief to his parents. They were getting old and he was heavy and still strong. You should never want to outlive your child. That's horrible.
Aye @Raedawn07 u wanna make a baby? :jawalrus:

I couldn't do/encourage it. I have family members that are disabled, and despite their life not being what I imagine to be ideal they are still valuable members of their family who's existence I cherish.

On top of that, I think it's better to not shed innocent blood. It's not an easy thing to answer, but if I am trying to adhere to my principles I believe that I can deal with a level head.

More like a lifetime of inconvenience huh be honest :heh:

How would the kid know hes suffering if thats the only way hes lived?:jbhmm:But hey im sure he would rather die as well :obama:

Of course. Suffering is inconvenient. It's also painful, taxing, and expensive.

And I'm not sure what your 2nd question means. How would a kid born w/o legs know he's suffering? :dahell: Probably by spending his youth watching other kids run and play. That might be ya know... not great... as an example.
