Doorman job is much better then fukking sitting on a corner, running in traffic and begging for change. Mc Donald’s is hiring in every city dog. Every fast food restaurant is hiring. They gotta go get a job
We can agree to disagree. Like I said you can’t replace a method that provides daily cash with one where you slave for at least 2 weeks and get paid eventually.

They wouldn’t recommend McDonalds or hotel doorman for their own kids, they would provide them with a more sustainable path. Temporary solutions that just get people off the corner for aesthetics will still bite the community in the ass later.

These Mfs do not want to be Calvin. They want to be their own bosses and CEO’s and our leadership COULD provide options, they choose not to.

And that is the problem wanting to be a boss but not knowing how to be a worker first.

So you'd rather get maybe $0 to $100 a day over a solid paycheck even if you have to wait?

Make it make sense?

I wouldn’t rather, but previously having been impoverished, daily cash allows different movement than waiting for two weeks.

Then I know plenty of people who have overdraft their accounts and won’t deposit any money because it will eat the little paycheck they are depositing. Remember, these minimum wage jobs are paying much.

Broke is one thing but poverty is a different world and with poverty, that daily bread is necessary.

Nothing that you get paid cash everyday is a sustainable business.

Ofcourse they wouldn’t want they kids working there, that’s why people work hard so they kids don’t have to get it out the mud and work mc Donald’s and shyt. But for a lot of us that’s what we gotta do to get up and stable

And I’m sure with how many boys on every corner they ain’t making more then 20 Dollars a day, mc Donald’s starting at 16 a hour.

That’s goofy shyt bro. Really really goofy.

They can be contracted/1099 workers getting paid three and four times for the same duties than salary/hourly at minimum wage.

You can be a worker and still get paid.

Hustling is a series of events for the most part and you can sustain by hustling. Of course no ONE hustle will do the job. Many people who will stand on the corner have a lot of hustles.

You seem to be speaking from a space where you’ve never had to sustain from hustling. Maybe all your opportunities have come through steady employment. I’ve had to do both.

I’d never offer someone hustling a corporate “opportunity”, unless it was sales.

Getting a solid paying job and you can do your outside work after that. But trying to live and sustain yourself off some bs service that nobody wants is goofy shyt and we need a mindstate change. They rather do they then work a job, that’s parenting and upbringing failure

In New Orleans where is probably more poverty then Bmore you ain’t seeing able body adults like 16-30s on the corner unless they fully mentally gone.

It’s enough fast food spots hiring right now and they paying much more then they use to. Walmart starts out at like 16 dollars, Home Depot all these places are paying way better

Thinking short term never works out.

They not thinking like that tho. These guys live day to day. And it’s not like they have a good support system. If they did they wouldn’t be out there in the first place

I get you breh but a lot of these dudes are in situations where they can’t afford to wait
And I feel you but employment is at an all time low, their are jobs out there.

NYC was thick with squeegees in the 80's and they pretty much went away.

Why does Baltimore have this issue but not Chicago, Atlanta, Tampa, etc?

shyt right now I hustle every day. I quit my stable job where I was had started from making 6 dollars a hour at Walmart to 60 and now I go to school and work with Uber/Lyft. I see shyt out the car, pass out cards, give personal rides, got a couple restaurants that pay me for every referral I send them, got some clubs who do the same. I hustle every day.

And it’s working out for me. But I provide services people want, I’m not outside begging as able body adults but still have to much pride to go work a regular job. I’m 31 now, I worked at Walmart when I got my first apartment to support myself.

Politicians allow it to happen. What they are doing isn’t legal but local government has always told police not to enforce it

Yea there’s jobs out there but I doubt many of them would be able to keep it
