Herpes is the only STI I can think of that requires symptoms for confirmation. You really cant get tested for herpes unless you have an outbreak, in which they sample it.

did a 10 panel blood test a couple of days ago along with a urine test (for trich, gonnorhea, etc)
should be getting results back today
no symptoms or anything, but outside of hiv and hsv 1 and 2 I don't know if I've ever been tested for it all
trich is mad common, so i'm a bit scared on what will come back on that (even though most of the sex i've had has been within committed relationships)

Well there are things that look like herpes that arent herpes so its not always cut and dry.
How is it cheaper if your doc would send you somewhere else?
