I ain’t mad at it :yeshrug: it’s a toss up between him and Lebron, with KD and Kawhi following up.

It’s a damn shame that 73 win Warriors didn’t win the title. If they did Steph would’ve been immortalised and his place as a top 10 player ever wouldn’t even be debatable.

Lebron by far is the player of the decade.

decade is 2010-2019....Curry was not dominat all those years

I think Curry was the most influential player of the last decade. Kids will be playing like Curry in the future rather than Lebron.
but the title is "player of the decade" not "the most influential player of the last decade".

beside, point forwards became more popular than ever because of LeBron. there's more focus in the league on ball-dominant players that aren't naturally point guards who can pass as well as score.

It is interesting to see so many Kobe stans in here bashing Lebron considering Lebron now plays for the same Lakers organization as Kobe.

It is not surprising, however, to see many of these Kobe stans bash Steph Curry's impact on changing the game, since Kobe is a lower grade carbon copy of Michael Jordan and himself never changed anything in the NBA.

LeBron underachieved this decade

The Heat were 2-2, could have been 1-3 if San Antonio didn't choke

I don't blame him for the Cavs Warriors losses (warriors had better teams ) but the Heat era should be held against him.

the mavs had a better team in 2011.

I didn't really see the spurs lost coming tho, and im the ORIGINAL kawhai fan on here.

Bron is definitely the best player of this decade, but I ain't mad at Steph getting this type of recognition, considering a lot of folks still can't, and don't, wanna understand the impact he has on the game. The basketball public, in general, uses this scale where everything is judged upon what players do 1v1 with the ball, and they can't contextualize how Steph breaks the game with teams literally defending him with 2-3+ players everywhere he goes, with or without the ball. That type of impact is not only immeasurable in a historical context, but also figuratively as well.

It goes well beyond that too (his scoring efficiency v. volume v. shot difficulty), but folks who already know don't need to be told, and folks who don't know by now will never get it.

:hubie:

Exactly this. I would not have been mad had Bron won but Steph is (dare I say) still underrated.

Obvious homer bias...
