Bron is definitely the best player of this decade, but I ain't mad at Steph getting this type of recognition, considering a lot of folks still can't, and don't, wanna understand the impact he has on the game. The basketball public, in general, uses this scale where everything is judged upon what players do 1v1 with the ball, and they can't contextualize how Steph breaks the game with teams literally defending him with 2-3+ players
everywhere he goes, with or without the ball. That type of impact is not only immeasurable in a historical context, but also figuratively as well.
It goes well beyond that too (his scoring efficiency v. volume v. shot difficulty), but folks who already know don't need to be told, and folks who don't know by now will never get it.
