Not when he had Draymond Green nailed to the bench :mjlol:

Calling Harrison Barnes and Iguodala isos like that shyt was efficient :mjlol:

David Lee struggle buckets :mjlol:

i swear to god people love caping for Mark like he was good at his job. Meanwhile, Alvin Gentry and Larry Drew were literally ran out of town and :whistle::whistle:

trifling as fukk

He also had a team president that didn't like him....and also spied on him. Using his own assistant.

If anything, I said I had no idea what Golden State was expecting since everything was trending upwards..... going to a championship seemed really plausible after Mark's last season... but I thought winning one in 2015 was a long shot......
No one really thought it would come so soon. Dray was just a great defender and a good roleplayer, Steph and Klay were just fun to watch, Andre was either looked as as disappointing or taking a necessary step back, harrison wasn't there yet. No one saw david lee sitting the whole season and andre on the bench coming. Drays emergence was not expected, Klay was gonna be great but his two way play surprised some people... Maybe even became overrated (better than butler? :mjlol:) most like myself saw them becoming a top 4 seed, but a ship was a long ways away. I dont feel like looking it up but they won what, 15 more games between the seasons? Someone find me an espn, bleacherreport, etc article that said they could do that then ill eat crow. There was nothing saying that team just needed a year or two.

1. phil said he'd coach

2. buss said the job was his

3. buss fukked him over and gave away the job

4. he knew howard and kobe and all the fans wanted phil

5. hired abum ass coach who never won shyt

6. howard says in plain english, he wanted phil, and if phil was here, he'd stay

7. this results in all that follows... kobe getting the shytty teammate stigma he didn't have with gasol cause he had no one to pass to... no free agents with 20-30-60 million in cap even want to entertain coming there... they ain't drafted shyt in 3 years that amounted to anything... and it's a what have you done lately league

i mean you realize you are looking at this team minus kobe, with maybe 1 good draft pick, and no important free agents on the market nor any looking to play for you next year

you think this shyt is about to improve?? come on and sit next to us sixers fans... the process will be long... you're at 3 years and counting now
just like i thought. still butt hurt about the phil thing. phil didnt WANT the job. if he did he would not have said "i'll think about it."

When they called phil to comeback after the shaq era. Did phil hesistate and say "let me think about it?" NOPE

He said, yes, they paid him handsomely and that was it.

Why did phil say "i'll think about it?"
Why was the media reporting phil only wanted to coach home games?

Why was the media reporting phil wanted a front office job where he could be in control of player personnel?

Phil didnt want to coach anymore. he was past that What part of that dont you get? He wanted to try his hand at being a GM. Which he is right now.

Dwight wanted phil. Did dwight know that phil would've never let him post up as much as he requested to do so from the lakers the moment he got here? Phil knows dwight isnt that good of a post player and would've told him to screen and lob and get rebounds, play defense. The exact same thing kobe told him. But yet dwight wouldnt listen. You would've just had a battle of phil vs dwight. Lets not forget. kobe has 5 rings too. So if you aint listening to the champ. Who are you listening to? dont say phil cause he has more rings then kobe. Dwight asked for phil but had no idea what working for phil was like. Dwight is sensitive to criticism is he not? Always has been right?

Phil goes hard on players in the media. throwing them dead under the bus when they dont perform up to elite standards. Dwight woud've broke down in tears with phil as his coach. and thats IF phil coached. Which means... dwight would've left anyway. Remember when the rumors started about dwight leaving. The lakers had phil. Dwight didnt have the lakers on his top 3 list back then. So i'm telling you dwight never really wanted to be a laker to begin with. but we had to trade drew and for the fans we had to get back something.

What would have made dwight hang around would've have been the combination of cp3 and kobe. cp3 setting him up like butter and knowing when kobe is gone even more setups are coming. but this never happend because..... "basketball reasons" on that cp3 nixed deal. everything revolves around that nixed deal. EVERY THING.

At best phil would've coached that 1 year and retired. guess who was a FA that summer? Dwight

So even if he had phil that first year. phil was not going to stay on again. Cause phil is a retired coach for a reason. he no longer wants to travel like that. thats why they had the rumors out about him coaching only home games. dude has had all sorts of hip surgeries, etc. So he aint feeling all that up and down of travel. which any common sense person can understand.

Now me personally i wanted rick adelman over brown. but rick aint never won a darn thing either. And guess who retired a year or two later? Rick adelman. so even my idea wouldnt have worked since there was no future in phil or rick since they were both so old and ready to call it quits.

This why you hire mike brown. young coach that has a coach of the year award, who preaches defense(something the lakers lacked at the time), and has coached a super star perimeter player before.

you hire mda to have a bootleg version of showtime which Doc buss asked for on his death bed. you cant fault jim for giving pops his wish.

David Lee being hurt to start last season is as much a reason for the Warriors success as anything. If he'd been healthy Kerr may have felt forced to start him still and the Warriors needed Draymond Green to be as great as they are.

That'd be true if Kerr wasn't going to Mareese Speights over David Lee regularly

His assistant, who the owner hired, made allegations against Jackson for undercutting him - then, said assistant wanted to videotape all the other dumb shyt that Jackson was actually doing.

That's just a mess on both sides.

How many other locker rooms have shyt like that going on?

Warriors obviously took a jump with Kerr. Jackson should get alot of credit for the defensive identity he gave them, but they were underperforming offensively. Offense didn't have the same flow or crispness. Not even close

Mark deserves another head coaching gig though, I'm generally shocked he hasn't gotten one yet? Unless he prefers being a commentator?
He can pick and chose where he wants

I heard him and billups turned down the t wolves

Again, :cape::cape::cape: all day for Jackson who was simply bad at his job, or at the very best mediocre but undercut his assistants constantly.

But Gentry in Phoenix? :guilty:
Larry Drew in Milwaukee?

Even Monty? :hula:

Because New York had a shyt roster built around an aging all-star that is a proven liability to any winning environment :mjlol: Fisher is there for the check and nobody blames him.

And Fisher is a good coach for winning any games at all with those D-Leaguers.

U can't be disrespecting playoffs Melo has been to western conference playoffs and always made the playoffsame except for a couple of years
