Don't give a fukk what SAS has to say and don't give a fukk about Mark Jacksons tenure here.

We the champs, we undefeated and the staff we got now is the best in the league

Mark Jackson was a starter coach. One of those guys that nurtures young teams and gets them to be a good (yet flawed) team. Like Doug Collins, Scott Skiles, Scott Brooks, etc.

He was what the Warriors needed at a time, but he didn't get better as a coach as his players kept getting better. They wouldn't be a contender under Jackson.

Kerr brought good assistants, instilled a new offense, unleashed Curry, philosophically challenged and connected with his key players, energized the second unit, was always composed out there, and brought a championship culture and insight. Luke Walton is being an extension of Kerr, and actually not fukking things up this season. That is a huge accomplishment.

Jackson deserves another job, but he needs to tone his ego down. Also it's just really a bad look when the team looks 100 times better when a rookie coach steps in. Either Jackson was holding them back or Kerr is a prodigy. 17 win improvement plus championship? :dwillhuh:

I have a good memory. When Mark Jackson was fired, Team Jackson wasn't saying "this is bullshyt, now Kerr is going to get credit for the natural progression of this team that Mark created"

They were saying " Mark Jackson was the heart and soul of this team, they are going to struggle without him  "

I did.... said the same shyt about Gruden lucking up and getting to a super bowl with those Bucs too before it happened..... cause they were a piece/adjustment away..... and a lot of other nikkas did to.... that quote sounds more like a media soundbyte, than from actual cats who watch the game a lot

Mark Jackson still had fukking David Lee starting over Draymond when it was clear to anyone who actually paid attention that team functioned better with Draymond in the lineup

Link? If you said that back then, :salute: . But most of the pro Jackson people said the Warriors were stupid for firing Jackson and that he was being used as a scapegoat for a team that just wasn't good enough to win a championship.

If anything, I said I had no idea what Golden State was expecting since everything was trending upwards..... going to a championship seemed really plausible after Mark's last season... but I thought winning one in 2015 was a long shot......
