A lot of so called nikkas in here taking glee in espousing low level white boy hate on other nikkas....

We can't even get credit from our own..... Yall gon learn tho....
Backing him for the wrong reasons is a bad look though.

He simply isn't a good coach. He seems to be good at developing relationships with people and anyone who wasn't atheist really liked him. But in the long run, you need a coach, not a friend.

If he had been ok with being a leader and letting talented people do the leg work, he would have been fine, but he wasn't. He hated when other people got credit, it made him extremely insecure and defensive. He didn't want anyone with talent on his coaching staff because he saw them as a threat. As a result, the team had issues they couldn't overcome and he was too proud to ask for help.

Think of all of the times he has commentated an NBA game. Name a single time he said something basketball related that wasn't just a celebration of Mano y Mano bullshyt. He never broke down a play and said how if player A had hedged properly, player B would have been able to break free. He didn't care about shyt like that. He liked having a talented player shoot into the teeth of the defense and score. He liked to win by having more talent and just being better than the other guy, he had little interest in the systems the Warriors now employ on both sides of the ball to use talent as an extra tool instead of the end all.

Mark Jackson sucks.

It literally makes more sense to step up for Vaughn or Brian Shaw, like... fukk

out of all the black coaches? Mark? I didn't even like Larry Drew but he found out he got fired through a conference call. Gentry got ran out of town for a guy that was upending a team - a team that he wasn't even supposed to win with in the first place. Woodson was literally spied on by the owner of the team.

But Mark Jackson? That's the guy that gets you up and woke? Its a fukking shame

From what I remember gs was weak until the new owners and jackson came in and changed the whole identity of the franchise. He guaranteed a playoff spot. Same as thibs taking over the bulls from vinny del negro. they were going to be good anyway.

He has shown zero comprehension of how dramatically the Warriors offense system changed under Kerr, from Mark Jackson.

The ball movement under Mark wasn't as crisp tho:patrice:
Under Jackson, they were 30th in the league in passes per game - 246.6 (Nuggets were second to last yet they still averaged 17 more passes than they did - 261.9)

Under Kerr, they were 7th in the league in passes per game - 315.9 (plus they were 1st in assists per game, 1st in secondary assists per game, 1st in assist to pass percentage and 1st in potential assists).

They literally went from the worst passing team in the league to arguably the best (from Jackson to Kerr).
