He was averaging 31-33 on 28-29 shots a night. Curry got 30 on 20 shots a night this year. Huge difference.

edit: he also did it in 7-9 fewer minutes per game too

great post. I do hate the zone defense. I also agree that it was put in place to stop Shaq. Didn't really think it was for AI but the vid does make a great point.

Imagine if he were actually willing to practice his game. Yeah the fact that Shaq could coast all season and rack up finals MVP awards just after Mike retired with a big part of his marketing being how hard he worked might have ruffled some feathers with stern. He'd loaf the first few months of he year and by seasons end he's averaging 33-15 with a few blocks a game on 60% shooting in the finals
