For one the Spurs aren't that far behind them so they don't wanna get cute and end up with "only" 69 wins and the Spurs fukk around and win 70. Having Game 7 at home in the Western Conference Finals is HUGE... especially if the Warriors play the Spurs. The Warriors have had major trouble winning in San Antonio historically and last season too.

Yeah having game 7 on your floor when the home team historically wins it 80% of the time isn't a big deal. It's not like that's a sample size of more than 100 games to show having game 7 at home matters.
