Like @hex already pointed out there work in the 90's far out weighs what they dropped after...but I can appreciate alot of their production in the early 2000's....especially this one....

I think Earthtone III did a fine job but you have to wonder how the rest of Outkast's discography would sound if Organized Noize did the whole thing.

I would put prime Dungeon Family (Organized Noize and Earthtone III) beats up against anything from the south 00's.

It's not that the 00's were wack....but it's being compared to a time when not only did every region have their own sound, every region was arguably at their peak.

97/98 is basically when hip hop became watered down. Have you gone back and listened to the classics from the 80s and early 90s?

Majority of my all-time favorite Hip Hop albums dropped between '94 and '98. but I mess with certain early 90s albums (The Low End Theory, Geto Boys: We Can't Be Stopped, Death Certificate, Quik is The Name, The Chronic) and classic songs.

80's....ehhh not so much aside from NWA.
