TRUTH..... Been trying to get some of my closest partners and some other associates to buy up blocks of destitute property right outside of Bham........ Its land and houses that's going for 5k right within the edge of city limits.... and the way Bham is gentrifying right now...... folks that's currently living in these areas won't even be able to afford shopping in their neighborhoods, let alone live there......so it might as well be us who owns the majority of the real estate so we can at least attempt to look out for our brothers and sisters who are already staying in these areas

Where's this at in Bham? Out by Fairfield or in the city?

Yeah it's not just Clayton

Another reason I'm considering the move. My job is like 60-70 miles away EACH WAY... I get to work from home but it's not always the case.

If your car takes a shyt on you, you're fukked out here. And that's another reason why there's traffic almost 24/7 around here. Im feeling like its no longer worth staying here.

Kinda wanna do the small town thing

Man I been saying ATL shoulda expanded the MARTA years ago.... and I assume you from ATL?

Why not drive your car to Colli-park or union city MARTA then take the train? Unless where you work aint by a station?

Also businesses don't buy in black areas in atlanta. You'll be hard press to find whole foods and sprouts in the black suburbs. They planned for this long ago though.....:mjcry:

Man I wish the had a Whole Foods in south ATL.... but I fukk wit Wayfield foods & Kroger... :blessed:

I was talking to my girl about Camp Creek. I like it but I see the same future for them as what happened in South Dekalb Co. Literally all the big box retailers have to do is close down and that area is done. Just a lot of people with good jobs but not building much. Most of th businesses we open in these burbs are car washes, barbershop, salon, and wing stands/night clubs.

Man Campcreek gets a TON I repeat TON of business. But they start fukking up when they close stores like Peir 1, and Barnes and Nobles, and open up discount stores that are under the quality of marshalls and TJ Maxx, also nail salons, and hair supply stores... Black people need to push for entrepreneurship, thats the only way to save us from the inevitable.

Or Starbucks, Chick Fila or Publix. They got plenty of Checkers, Food Depot, and Dolla stores tho.

I noticed they tryna stash nikkas up and down 20 and 75. Cacs on 85 and 400

There is 2 Starbucks in Campcreek (used to be 3 before they closed Barnes and Nobles), chik-fil-a, and Publix :sas2:

South Atlanta is actually a good place for upper middle class working black folk to raise a family... lotta people dont know that.

You talkin about like Cascade and shyt?

Yeah you right, lots of old beautiful homes, older educated retired black people..... but no young people/families.... everybody wanna live in the City.

What apartments? I haven't been anywhere there besides the Shopping Area. I get a Stonecrest vibe when I`m in the Camp Creak area, hate to say it.

Same thing happening in Dallas. Desoto, Lancaster, and Cedar Hill area is basically the new Red Bird.

my pops lives in Dallas, wouldn't be surprised if he moves in one of those burbs so his money can stretch, but then again Idk how traffic is there.

Some of the worst traffic in ths country. The DFW area is overcrowded. Mexicans have basically moved nikkas out of their neighborhoods. Just like what happen in California.

I grew up in Cedar Hill during 90's and that area has went down

The property value has dramatically fallen. Crime has risen. The school district used to be one of top school district in Texas. Not even close to that level now.

Nah breh I work in Kennesaw but I got to commute to different locations...

I was in traffic for 4 hours today:beli:

I can't be carrying equipment on a Marta like that. Plus, all the locations I hit are so spread out that it doesn't matter regardless. I went from the south side, to Kennesaw, to Johns creek, and was supposed to hit up East Point and Morrow but I said fukk that after it took 4 hours to complete 1 job. Spent the next 2 in traffic:beli:

But I wouldn't mind parking and riding tbh..

Where's this at in Bham? Out by Fairfield or in the city?

Ensley, Certain parts of 5 points west.... Certain spots in West End near Cleveland Avenue.... Matter of fact, there is a rumor that the immediate area around Princeton Hospital is being looked at by private investors.... there's more, but these the areas I was kind of focusing on... but you can find gems in Pratt City, and East Thomas as well..... because these spots are cheap, but need serious rehabbing\renovating... or better yet.. if you know a contractor that will work with you, buy a spot for the land and knock the home down... start from scratch....

Fairfield is in a free fall, and I'm expecting real estate prices to hit rock bottom out there....they're in a financial crisis and their tax base aint shyt... which means Fairfield High and Forest HIlls jr high most def aint gon be shyt... poor Miles College :to: Bus routes about to get cut back.... Police dept about to be disbanded on April 1st.... :whoo: shyt about to be lit..... and that wonderful residential and commercial real estate will be a fraction of what its truly worth a year from now......
