If they can make Metamorpho not bytch made I would be down for itShould Terrifcs be a Show or Movie

I mentioned earlier that they are similar. I think people drawing lines in the sand make people miss it. If the idea for the original trilogy happened we would've gotten this Supes in the third movie. WB suits screwed the whole thing up chasing MarvelThe reasons the comparisons are happening is because of what Superman represents in a societal context. That's why Superman gets the brunt of these debates over characterization differences
Snyder's and Gunn's differences in approach are different, but they share more similarities than I think people realize. I think both are worthy of discourse

Magic is also his weakness. Captain Marvel usually fought him to a standstillI get what you're saying but that's the only thing keeping him from being Homelander. Nobody in that universe could realistically stop him if he didn't care. I took it as him establishing the difference between him and Ultraman more than anything. There's no more kryptonite on the planet, no more Ultraman, lol he has to have some kind of weakness and that's his humanity.
Stern is not the word. I don't think it's to much to ask for a composed Superman, especially when MCU Steve Rogers existed. You knew when Steve was happy, sad, angry, worried etc but he never yielded to his emotions to the point where he'd look like he wasn't Captain America. The idea of a composed man has become this mythical, unrealistic, often toxic thing but I think it's something attainable and should be aspired toSo you think that Superman should be stern all of the time? That's unrealistic. Also, Superman had moments where he rage quit in the DCAU.
Further, Superman is NOT physically weak in the movie. I don't know why so many people are saying that.
If I lost my temper with my girlfriend over a mock interview I'd be embarrassed after that shyt
That's the crux of my entire point about regulation He did in mine too..but I'm not sure if it's because it's Peacemaker or because it's John Cena'Peacemaker' received a big reaction at the IMAX I was at. I think season 2 is going to do well.
I get the bolded which is why I actually didn't mind them making him physically weaker. I even understand the human elements anchoring him. My only point of contention is how he regulates those emotions
For reference I use Animated Series Superman as a standard. I think TAS Superman can get into a debate with Lois without screaming at her. I think TAS Superman can be visibly angry and ask where his dog is without throwing shyt around like Batman. Ironically I also think the best on screen Superman is MCU Steve Rogers. That's the type of temperament I expect from Superman
It's also worth noting that I didn't mind at all when Superman cried when the Indian got killedThat's was a very appropriate, Superman like reaction. This is what I mean when I talk about the spectrum of emotional regulation. When I see a 30 year old man screaming at his girlfriend I see a big baby, when I see that same man cry because a man was killed I understand his tears completely
"prob just gonna wait til its on @TVGo and watch it for yourself and find out

Don't mix his Batman in Gunn's goofy DC world.*Gunn didn't say anything that he hasn't already said.Matt should tell him NODon't mix his Batman in Gunn's goofy DC world.
