Good movie.

Mr Terrfic kind of stole the spotlight.

James Hoult is a wack lex Luther, he has no gravitas

Krypto was the 2nd favorite

Stile not sold on this guy as superman, he’s still kind of dorky

Lois and him had 0 chemistry, i wasn’t really buying into the relationship. It was like one of those things where she hates Clark but is turned on by superman.

It's the reason why I wanted Lex to be an older character played by some one like Bryan Cranston or Mark Strong

Think some of you misunderstood some things from the movie. Lol

Yeah, but the plot twist of the movie agrees with the MAGA viewpoint about immigrants. The MAGA viewpoint is that immigrants are generally suspicious and dangerous. They're "bad hombres" like Trump said lol.

If the message from Jor-El and Lara is completely real, then Kryptonians are "bad hombres" that should be feared. Way to completely undercut your message, James and Sean Gunn.

Anyway, like I said, I hope that we learn there's more to the story later on either in Supergirl or some other DCU project.

Because it proves that Lex and other humans are RIGHT to be suspicious of Superman (and by extension, Supergirl).

Why should humans trust Superman? All of the superhero things he does could just be a facade to placate humanity. Then, one day, he enacts his mission and "lords over the Earth". I would never fully trust Superman again if I were a human in the DCU.

Also, Supergirl is the wrench in this whole thing. Why hasn't Superman asked his cousin (who was RAISED on Krypton) to decipher the message? If Jor-El and Lara's message is accurate, then why is Kara allowing her cousin to chill and be a protector of Earth? Why hasn't Supergirl wiped out humanity? Or is the viewpoint in the message just unique to Jor-El and Lara? I highly doubt that would be the case, though.

That message raises way more questions than answers. I like the movie, but that diminishes the message a bit.

You have reached the point where your anger is causing you to not understand what you actually saw.

The problem Superman had wasn’t deciphering the message, it’s that he didn’t have access to the entire message. Remember, the engineer is the one who came and unlocked the whole thing. Supergirl wasn’t around during the entirety of this story.

Also Superman has been saving these people for years at this point. This isn’t day 1, he has earned their trust for the most part. Actions speak louder than words, if he wanted to do what was mentioned in the latter part of that message could have already started.

Superman just didn’t act like a fully developed 30+ year old man. He was literally throwing tantrums and couldn’t even properly articulate/defend his decisions to justify his actions. It was like watching a live action MARK GRAYSON.

If this was meant to be a teenage/young Superman in his early 20’s I don’t think there’s an issue. But this is a GROWN 30 year old + year 3 superman.

That scene with Superman and Lex in his office and the interview with Lois was like watching when Invincible gets mad and rants at Cecil. With one looking like an angry child and the other like a calm adult.

I agree, I like the concept of the Lois interview scene but for someone that is supposed to be 30 and with a career as a journalist he came across as very naïve and him being on duty for only 3 years is a weak excuse.

You're on drugs. Superman is the immigrant and he decided on his own that he's here to protect, serve and inspire hope. He's the immigrant. Should I repeat that he's the immigrant?

You're just as bad as the MAGA crowd trying to see shyt that isn't there :mjlol: Pa Kent even reiterated that Clark has always been the way that he is because in his heart, that's who he is.

Movie was good, and I’m glad Mr Terrific didn’t die for obvious reasons.

They did a good job making characters I was hesitant on likable. I don’t mind that Green Lantern now, nor the dog.

Though they have to find a way to make a Superman movie where the villain isn’t another Superman.
Mr Terrific was given enough time to be on screen and definitely gained some fans. I hope we see more of him.

*Superman can easily ask Supergirl to verify the contents of the message after the plot twist reveal.

*OK, we as the audience know that Superman is good. A human IN THE DC UNIVERSE doesn't know that. There's no reason to fully trust Superman after the Els full message is allegedly revealed. Lex Luthor's hatred of Superman goes from unjustified to at least partially justified.
