the criticism of cam's showmanship is fueled by him being black...stop. gronk, arod, brady, whoever do the same and it's all jokes, cam does it and the media had/comment sections/social media had a melt down for a week. the fact is black people don't have the same leeway, it is what it is.

I see and hear much more discussion and debate about the criticism of Cam Newton than I hear ACTUAL criticism of Cam Newton. Where are all these critics? Like yeah some whiny white lady wrote a letter to the editor of her newspaper or whatever. But can anyone link me to stories/columns/etc of people criticizing Cam? I googled "Criticizing Cam Newton" and literally the entire first page of results is people discussing why he is criticized. Not one link actually criticizing him. Help. I want to read the criticisms too

You are bugging. Read any comments section of any article about Cam Newton and you'll see plenty of criticism and coded words about why they don't like him.

You can find plenty of articles about Cam's "polarizing persona" as well.

I do think a lot more of our pink assed brehs like Cam than we give credit for. I think most do. The problem is those who don't like him that come up with the bullshyt, code words, and other foolishness to "justify" their disdain for him.

But...it's not his celebrations on the field, because it says 57% of fans like celebrations.
