Westbrook has now lost 22 of his last 29 playoff games going back to 2016 WCF. 23 of 31 if you count the play-in games.

Last 8 postseasons:

FG% are 41%, 42%, 40%, 39%, 40%, 36%, 42%, and now 33%.
3pt %'s are 22%, 28%, 32%, 26%, 36%, 32%, 24%, and right now 00%.
Turnovers are 4.0, 4.4, 4.3, 6.0, 5.2, 4.6, 3.8, and now 5.0.

People trying to call him a top-10 all-time PG and an MVP candidate this year, but honestly would you even want him over Ben Simmons? Simmons has All-NBA defense and won't take the bad shots or make the bad turnovers. What's Russ got over him other than stat-padding rebounds?

Holy shid is this terrible. I give him some slack for 2020 as he had COVID before the Bubble and he had that quad injury. But other than that, its :scust:

Davis Bertans has also been terrible in the postseason. 36% FG and 33% from 3 pt range

Russ has lost 22 of his last 29 playoff games and that's while playing with 5 different rosters on 3 different teams. At some point you can't blame EVERY fukking roster he's on, you have to admit the problem is him.

Claiming that Russ should be the primary ballhandler for a contender flies in the face of the fact that no one can be a contender if their primary ballhandler has WOAT bball IQ. And Russ's decision-making in the playoffs has been consistently terrible.

Also Russ could have been the #3 scoring option behind PG13/Carmelo in 2018, he could have been the #3 scoring option behind PG13/Schroder in 2019, he could have been the #3 scoring option behind Harden/Gordon in 2020. ALL of those players were more likely to put the ball in the bucket than Russ was. Yet Westbrook insisted on taking the most shots on the team in all of those series, he even took more than Harden in the 2020 Laker series when Westbrook was coming back from injury. That's on him.

If you replace PG13 or Kawhi with Westbrook that team would suck ass. :mjlol:

If you magically want to put a max player on the Clips without taking anyone off? Well, right now the Clippers are averaging 112ppg on 49% shooting in this series, offense isn't their problem. Throw Westbrook on that team with his crappy shooting nights and are you really certain their offense would get any better? Kawhi 34ppg on 54%, PG13 26ppg on 50%, Batum 10ppg on 54%, Rondo 8ppg on 56%, Westbrook ain't gonna improve those #'s, all he's gonna do is take shots away from efficient shooters.

And defense? THAT is where the Clippers' problems are, giving up 120ppg on 54% shooting (50% from 3pt).

Russ ain't gonna do jack shyt to help the Clippers' defense. :russ:
I didn't say replace PG or Kawhi. I said add him to the team. And yes their defense would get better. PG was a DPOY candidate playing next to Russ. He makes offense easier for guys capable of playing off ball which means they have more energy on the defensive end. Obviously his contract eliminate any real world possibility. But it was meant to highlight a point that he has a role on a contending team that maximizes his strengths and minimizes the impact of his deficiencies-- which is literally the objective of building a championship franchise. Draymond literally can't shoot. But it matters less when he had Steph and Klay to get buckets. It's all moot. You're just a Russ hater anyway. Even in the playoffs his playmaking has been top tier. You clearly hate the guy and make it a point to come into any thread with his name to post anti-Russ twitter clips.

:mjlol: Be shocked that a 6'3 backcourt that gets most of its points in the paint is struggling against two athletic 6'10+ DPOY candidates. Philly is the absolute worst matchup for this team. Especially considering we have no reliable 3pt shooters.

Y'all couldn't even beat the 7-seed Celtics with one of their stars missing and you're talking about anyone else being a bad matchup? :gucci:

Outside of two wins against the no-Harden Nets, you're 2-21 against the 7 other playoff teams in the East. ALL the matchups are bad matchups.

Its been 3.5 months since you beat any of the seven teams ahead of you. :picard:

Sixers are clearly more talented than the Wiz but this series would be much more competitive if Scott Brooks wasn’t a terrible coach. All the Sixers are doing are exploiting the mismatches because Brooks can’t make any adjustments on defense and seems to think players can stop other players who are 4 to 5 inches taller than them.

Giving the Wizards too much credit. Coach or no Coach this wasn't going to be a series bro. 76ers were a horrible match up for the Wizards with their 6'3 guards.

All I’m saying is this series would go 5 games if they had a good coach. Now it’s going 4 lol

We need Otto, Ariza and Oubre to match up with 76ers

Only options we have is Hutchison whos trash all around.

Bonga who is 6'8'' but trash offensively but can defend

Gill who is also 6'8'' and was filling in for Deni Avdija but Brooks has refused to play him.

The only guy playing rotation minutes who can matchup with Simmons or Harris is Rui.
