I mean these #s that @Rhakim posted are brutal...

Ish having an out of body performance would be #SoWizards :dead:
:mjlol: I have him on ignore. That guy is a clown. He has fixed opinions and works backward to take out of context data to a confirmation bias. Why is he even in here? You can literally find him in any thread with Russ' name attached posting out of context, low-quality data. Russ is 2nd in assists in the playoffs. Any other player (like CP3), folks would be talking about how even when he's not scoring he's still impacting the game. If the other 14 players on the team could defend and contribute, we may have actually snatched a home game from Philly. You can't expect a weak defensive team that can't shoot threes to depend on their 6'3 non perimeter shooting guard to change his game in the playoffs and become a sharpshooter. There's nothing wrong with Russ' game. His strengths and weaknesses have more or less been consistent his entire career. Russ or no Russ, if the Wiz win this game it'll be cause Bertans finally remembered how to shoot, Rui remembers how to defend without fouling, and Neto does more that just get dressed for the game. Mark my words. Did you see the Brooklyn game last night? You can't tell me that wouldn't have been a better matchup for out 6'3 backcourt.

The Sixers are a better matchup if you had competent coaching. I'd be starting Gill not Bertans.

And I'd dust out Bonga to give me 6 fouls on Simmons.

But the issue with Russ is in the postseason, the game slows down and you need to play halfcourt basketball. His PG skills aren't great there. The turnovers are higher. He's shooting a bad percentage and its not just this series. It's last season in The Bubble. It's 2019 vs. POR, 2018 vs. UTA...

His last good series numbers wise was against the Rockets in 2017.

The sixers are not a better matchup when our backcourt is the only reliable part of our offense. A guy who was playing overseas the first half of the season isn't going to come in to the playoffs against a top defensive team and be a real difference maker.
