Scott Brooks really could be way more creative. Don’t think I saw the Wall-Beal-Oubre-Porter line up. I could be wrong. I think Oubre could get his confidence up playing with those guys. The Morris and Mike Scott frontcourt is OK. I think that just shows small ball is better.

As a Thunder fan, I had to watch him force Kendrick Perkins as a starter, leading to many game where we were down the 1st quarter of games with him on the floor because --veteran. (lol)

The thing I love about this series is how similar the starting line-ups are to each other.

Wall-Lowry
Beal-DeRozan

Backcourt battle. All-stars.

Otto Porter-Anunoby. Lengthy players who can hit 3s and play D.

Morris-Ibaka. Well-rounded offensive players.

Gortat-JV. Old school bigs with big presence on the floor.

I think we have more talent in the starting 5 but Wizards can hold up in that department. That's where our bench will kick in, maybe more this series than many other potential match-ups further down the line.

Good win but clean up turnovers and inside D. We'll be OK.

But yet he’s known for his “player development”. He barely wants to play the young guys. I think it’s just a selling point he’s taken advantage of since Westbrook-Harden-Durant have turned out to be great players.

Wizards can win the series but it’s gonna take some smart coaching. The Raps had no answer for the small ball lineup and the Wizards had some real negative personnel on the floor (Oubre and Gortat). Just gotta get Otto touches.
