You're not wrong but you see guys like Bron, Kobe, KD, Harden etc take multiple possessions off & even coast during games to conserve energy. He doesn't have an unlimited tank of energy like Russ.

He has no jumpshot and the answer to the Wizards problem is not taking the ball out of Wall's hands and putting it in the hands of a non-creator. If we actually had a system that prioritized ball movement and player motion I would agree.

You could have said the same about the Raptors three years ago. Lowry/Derozan are not leaders, the team lacks an identity, etc. Their GM completely changed the complexion of the team by drafting smart and signing quality free agents. The Wizards culture reset has to start with Ernie and Scott Brooks packing their bags but you can't tell me that Wall/Beal/Otto isn't as good of a core as Lowry/Derozan. The Wizards just need to supplement that talent with high-IQ players, youth, and athleticism.
