Hell
Thank you for your honesty.

As black men, we can't only hold the feet of black women or feminism to the fire...we must start with the black male. Women are followers and will become what the environment allows them to become. If the men of their environment are on top of their game, provide, protect and hold the women to an underlying standard because of the nest they lay out, then the women will comply more times than not. For fear of being alone and for fear of being ostracized.

But if the men are weak, shiftless, unmotivated and not able or willing to provide/protect, then the women will become ornery, deceitful and covetous.

The truth is, black women are a reflection of black men. If black women are not on top of their game, it's because black men are not on top of theirs. And if black men are not on top of theirs, they have neither the facility or wherewithal to demand black women, as a whole, step their game up.

Submission comes from women who feel secure and provided for. You can't expect sweet, submissive women who have to conquer the same world their man has to. Sweet and submissive comes with a level of innocence that most black men do not and cannot afford to offer black women at this point.

Peace

If your asking black men to step up financially and be equal to white men in America that's gonna be a mission, lots of men can't provide in that sense but that doesn't stop them from finding submissive, conservative women, the bug issue is a lack of culture and code in the black community.

Money is important but white men n of its their power, no other reason besides that.

Sound Reasoning
Yeah,

I didn't want to actually hurt nikkas feelings.... I see that you dont care.

Truth is... most of these nikkas aren't the type of men that a strong woman or weak women would want to follow. Black chicks naturally fall into pro blackness on some level if they are dealing and respecting a real man who exposes them to knowledge, instead of simply women bashing.

Exactly. Show me a black dude whose handling his life and I will show you a black chick who mirrors his mentality. Women will take on the mentality of the man she's dealing with in some form or fashion.

Generally, the mentality of black men is less than stellar right now. So, it's no wonder some factions of black women are gaining some traction within the larger group.

Peace

The majority of black men who are celebrities are athletes or entertainers, that'snnot a good point.

I don't see the point, Kerry Washington showiis big with black women, black womeniinterracial dating numbers have increased so let's cut the Bullshyt and speak on facts, we all k of what's going on here.

The point is that our society is more accepting of Black men. Period. Whether they are entertainers or politicians.

This is further proof that Black women face significant challenges, legitimizing the effort of Black Feminists.

And lets cut the bullshyt and speak on the facts (http://www.washingtonpost.com/r/201...itics/Stories/2FinalBlackWomenintheUS2014.pdf)

In fact, Black women are more likely than any group in America to work for
poverty-level wages, thereby making them the most likely of all Americans to
be among the working poor.

In fact, Black women are more likely than any group in America to work for
poverty-level wages, thereby making them the most likely of all Americans to

Black women are especially likely to be a victim of violence in America. In
fact, no woman is more likely to be murdered in America today than a Black
woman. No woman is more likely to be raped than a Black woman. And no
woman is more likely to be beaten, either by a stranger or by someone she
loves and trusts than a Black woman

 While Black women vote at dynamic rates, Black women remain woefully
underrepresented in elected office. Black women hold only 3 % of state
legislative seats, and less than 3% of seats in Congress. And 2014 makes the
15th consecutive year that no Black woman has held a seat in the United States
Senate

The disproportionate rate of school disciplinary actions may in fact be linked
to the recent surge in Black girls’ involvement with the juvenile justice
system. Today, Black girls are the fastest growing segment of America’s
juvenile justice system.

Black women are more likely than any other group in America to work
for poverty-level wages.
 Black women are more likely than any other demographic group to be a
member of the working poor.

1. Black Women suffer both a Wage Gap and a Wealth Gap negatively
influenced by both race and gender. The resulting earnings and wealth
disadvantages leave Black women especially vulnerable during their
retirement years.
 While the wage gap remains a particular challenge to the earnings of Black
women, also significant is the degree to which Black Women’s wages
continue to be depressed across every level of education and throughout the
life cycle.
 As a result of life-long wage disadvantages, as seniors, Black women have the
lowest household income of any demographic group in America.
 Especially among those who live alone, Black women suffer an astounding
wealth gap. Not only trailing significantly behind whites, but trailing Black
men as well.

I'll have to disagree with the bolded, but overall I agree. Black men can provide black women with that (I provide my girl with that already), but it takes a level of selflessness that's unfortunately become more and more uncommon. Even if you're money ain't long, you can still have a down ass female that understands how to support you and the vision for your lives together. She just has to have enough confidence and trust in you to follow your leadership.

As men, we need to work together to build something for our women and children, because right now, we really ain't bout that action.

If your asking black men to step up financially and be equal to white men in America that's gonna be a mission, lots of men can't provide in that sense but that doesn't stop them from finding submissive, conservative women, the bug issue is a lack of culture and code in the black community.

It's not just about providing financially. It's about providing an environment where a woman feels secure (regardless of how much money you make).

We, as black men, do a lot of talking, but we never actually do any work. Something simple that every black person can do is put their money in a black bank which will make it more likely for those of us who want to open a business to get a loan. But instead of taking those basic steps, we'd rather bicker and fight about all types of bullshyt that won't help us.

I remember @marcuz calling me a c00n because I made a similar statement a while back. It really hurt my feelings because he's been like a big sister to me :to:

This post is the cancerous bullshyt I'm talking about. Why the fukk are we wasting energy on who has it worst :mindblown:

If black women are buried 100 feet beneath the heal of white supremacy, black men are 99 feet below. And instead of us fighting to destroy our shared enemy, we're fighting about who has been getting their ass beat worst.

You're exactly right. Who has it worse is a meaningless pissing contest that accomplishes nothing.

The issue is....I dont think alot of people realize how bad Black Women actually have it, period.

You got nikkas in here saying that "Well shyt can't be all bad..Black Women have degrees! And run the church!"

FOH. You see these facts? Its just as bad for Black Women!!

So all in all, lets not act like Black Feminists dont have a legitimate reason to exist.
