I never knew about Neely Fuller, Claud Anderson, Michelle Alexander, Sharizad Ali, or Dr Welsing before Hidden Colors so I appreciate his films for that very reason.
Which film did you discover neey fuller on?

90% of his followers followed him because they didn't know how to talk to women. He even said it.The shyt he is says I agree with and I've being saying the same stuff before I heard of him. What in his message don't you like?
Show me some of your receipts can be something as small as working at a rec center.
My god you sound so fake. This is one of the funniest things I've read on here in a long time. So because I hold other black dudes accountable for their words/actions, promote exclusivity (not accepting any and everyone as black), and take black women's experiences into consideration I'm an agent? Ha! I'll admit Tariq makes some solid points sometimes, but the way some of you worship him like Jesus Christ is just entertaining to me. That's all. It's really not that deep.
Here's some more of that nonsense :malcpls:
I'm pro black so why would that be me? Check my history. I just think dude and his followers are lame.....the end. No need to defend him if you're not a sheep.

It's perfectly okay for you to feel like those who follow his work are lame, but who else in the present day (who is alive) is putting out content of this nature on platforms that the younger (and older) generations can access?
I fukks with Tariq because he put his money where his mouth is. Dude has written checks for groups/schools in Baltimore, Ferguson, South Africa and has gone to these places not for the photo ops, but to really get a view on how our people are living/being treated. This isn't someone who is a politician and gets handouts just to make it seem like he can pacify the black community when stupid shyt pops off. We've seen it a million times over when there's a police shooting, then fake outrage, a protest and a Sharpton-type that comes out for a press conference and then 2 months later no one talks about it, while the hastags fade into whatever Drake or Beyoncé has magically made popular this week.
You don't have to fukk with Tariq, breh, because you can be a force in your own community, which is a good thing. We need more of that. We should All strive for that and try to build. At some point we all need to draw a line in the sand and choose what side we want to fight on, especially when us as black people are the ones suffering at such a disproportionate rate.
So someone like Tariq is good in my eyes because he's not using his media company to be on some world star shyt or have another record label. He's making films that I can show to my nieces. He's doing a social networking app that we won't get censored on. I don't agree with all of his stuff but at some point dude figured out that he needed to focus his efforts on the people. We can trip on him making money from his efforts because white people (and other groups) make $$$ off of us all day every day. Most of us don't even spend a single dollar with out own people in a calendar year.
I'd rather support an emerging voice like his than simply go along with people who deflect of those who think that we can pray and God will magically fix a system that by DESIGN is meant to sabotage us.

Finished it. Very good interview. Can tell Envy was uncomfortable. Surprised Charlemagne was not c00ning it up, but actually agreeing with most of Tariq's points.
