Shiiit I couldn’t get the J&J in the BX when it was my turn. BX was Moderna Mobsince this thread is about the J&J i had a question
my aunt went to go take the vaccine and when she got there they told her that they're not going to open a new batch of moderna and Pfzier just for her unless she brought another person
they then said we'll give you the J&J or nothing
she left because she doesn't want that one
has anyone else had that experience? this is the first time I'm hearing it.
she's in the Bronx and i'm suspecting![]()
got to be some of the stupidest shyt I’ve read on here and that’s saying something
What's even more weird is intertwining the same mistrust of government with a mistrust of the vaccine (or science in general).
"Trusting the government" had nothing to do with me getting the jab. Instead I trusted the science
This is why I don't get democrats who were upset with people not trusting these vaccines
These are the same for-profit big pharma companies with a history of cruelty and harmful products that yall rally against that are making these vaccines
And you're surprised people don't trust them?![]()

What if the science is being influenced by government intervention?
I’m really starting to think news does more harm than good when it comes to public health. Because the layman doesn’t understand what they’re reading past headlines.
Is that the case with J&J, Moderna, or Pfizer? Their research and studies get peer reviewed by other universities
They 100% don’t. To be fair, even in healthcare at the highest levels there’s too much info to parse properly, but everything you do in medicine comes with risks and benefits based on evidence. At least we understand that.I've said the same. A lot of times I get the feeling that journalists don't really understand what they're writing about themselves

No, because like I said, people don’t know what they’re reading. Look at this thread lol, no one read past the headline. There are detailed analyses the general public literally can’t comprehend. That’s asking a lot, healthcare and scientists literally get degrees to be just have basic proficiency in understanding studies info and statisticsSo you publish the benefits as well as the risk and let people decide for themselves.
Just a while ago, you had some people on here complaining that the media shouldn’t even publish the risks of the vaccines as it would scare people away from taking it.
