The person you quoted wasn't the person complaining about the missed opportunity.

That guy admitted he didn't get into the how, but still blamed it on the interviewer being asian.

As if asking how something works is a trick question.

e-grow. the base fact is true.

just stick to that.

save the point scoring for another missive.

Going to continue providing quick updates on my boy because he is actively interviewing (I am not). Again, all of this is to counter the doom/gloom, "no one is hiring, no one is looking" stuff I'm seeing posted here.

Quick Updates:
- NVIDIA reached out to him and wants to move forward.
- (2) Interviews with a top FAANG (one management role, one for high-level IC)
- Top AI firm (OpenAI, xAI, Microsoft MAI, Google AI, etc.) moving forward after coding screen

I think he has something else out there, maybe with a top gaming company. I'm only really interested in tracking FAANG or adjacent.

Get after it!
To land roles like these you mostly have to live in Silicon Valley or Seattle, and pass 6+ rounds with racist Indian and Chinese interviewers. The scenario you describe is very unrealistic for Black folks.

CNBC vibe codes the product of a company in an hour

Company's stock crashes as a result
I can't wait until these vibe coding apps start getting exploited in mass. This might end up being a bigger windfall for cybersecurity pros than Indian coders.

I think they vibe coded that recent Windows 11 update. Messed up my ability to go remote for a couple weeks now. Had to turn off the updates entirely

Only if Regulators do their job. Right now everything is being watered down. Perfect ingredients for a massive reckoning once disaster strikes. And everyone will be clamoring for help to fix the mess they've made.
