To land roles like these you mostly have to live in Silicon Valley or Seattle, and pass 6+ rounds with racist Indian and Chinese interviewers. The scenario you describe is very unrealistic for Black folks.

Only if Regulators do their job. Right now everything is being watered down. Perfect ingredients for a massive reckoning once disaster strikes. And everyone will be clamoring for help to fix the mess they've made.

The Indians tend do interviews for lower level roles, btw. Since the bar is lower, and again, there are multiple interviewers and rounds even if there is bias, it is difficult to justify not passing someone who is technically solid.
In addition, you're often not interviewing for a single position. If you pass the bar, a team will pick you up.
Once you hit IC5 or IC6 you will often get interviewed by the whites.
These companies pay relocation.
Praying for a day when I get interviewed by the blacks.
