Also agree with this. I gave my old Honda to a family member when I got my new car, she got 300k miles on it now and still going strong. I still regret giving that car away :snoop:

breh i got 3 hondas, all paid off, all running flawless, even my 1995 honda civic with 250,000 miles. :blessed:

waking up with no car payment torture every month:win:

In a land of altimas, camrys, accords, that cost from high teens to mid twenty thousands wonder how many people really going to drop 42k+ when most avg people are driving cars that are half the cost of this car? Now if most still cop that's crazy but I'll be curious to see how it plays out.
price of those cars are going up. so the tesla 3 might be more appealing to people since it is only costing around 5-7K more.

You must not read some of these threads about the smaller luxury cars? If you do you'd get why he said that speaking about here and online in general. The screen is weak IMO I rather they went with the same 17in they have now or made one that could hideaway or something. It probably looks different when it actually comes out cause the SUV had no mirrors, a different grille and tablet setup which were all changed by the time it released.

Besides the C class what other smaller lux gets hate? The 3 series is/was a classic. The A4 is cool with most especially the new interior redesign. The ATS (while it doesn't get too much attention) is pretty solid. Now if we are talking about base models, then I can see it. Most base models of anything gets hate.

My dude I said check threads on here about smaller luxury cars here. Now if you don't want to check the threads that's cool but I already told you where you can find the answer to the question you asked. Most base models of luxury cars don't get hate esp from mid size on up. Nobody will say shyt. If you have a base charger or some regular car like that some cat online will say something. Honestly never heard a person crap on a mid size on up base luxury car.

They are going up but still don't think its close yet. I think if that was the case more people in everyday driving would have luxury cars and we know that's not the case. I do think more people obviously going to stretch out for this though. I honestly can't wait to see how things play out. Somebody probably could get some nice money building chargers since quite a few people don't have houses/apts with chargers to charge their cars.

What do you guys think about pre-ordering one with the intentions being to make money rather than actually ever drive it?

I'm figuring that if I were to put the $1,000 down, by the time I'm actually slated to get the car, I can flip it to someone who is desperate to have it ASAP that never preordered and hopefully make $5-$10k. What's your guys opinion on that? Anyone have experience doing such? Is the demand for Tesla's high enough when they first come out to justify spending the initial $1,000?

People did it with the other two cars they released but not as many as you'd think. I also don't know if will work with this car being the price probably already being stretched out close to their car limit as is for quite a few would they pay an extra 5-10k on top of that. If you have the bread though it doesn't hurt to try but you also better have a low number cause believe me if this goes like other releases if your number high up the people would be better off just waiting.

I plan on reserving one in about a month.

Just have to devise a plan to move out of my 2015 mazda 6 into a cheap used SUV/truck asap.

Don't see any sense in keeping my 6 if I'm looking to get that Tesla. Rather get something cheaper with more utility.

I wasn't really feeling the styling when I was judging off the reveal footage, but it looks way better here. And I'm glad its compact sized, it would've looked goofy with that big-ass greenhouse if the whole package was as big as a Model S.
