First off, athletes pay taxes in every state(or country in this case) that they play in. You just save a lot more if you move to a place with no state income tax, 41 game checks adds up. Canada's tax rate is 33% for high income earners, plus the province could have it's own tax rate.

He said Granger was in the gym every day working doing everything he could to get back often times making his injury worse trying to come back and help the team and he was the undisputed leader of the team and ever single player on that team looked up to him and they all felt like they were on the verge of something special and management had their back...and they traded him to philly right when they started tanking
