ken gurnick becomes the first voter to leave greg maddux off his hof ballot.

KEN GURNICK, Dodgers beat reporter
Morris

Morris has flaws -- a 3.90 ERA, for example. But he gets my vote for more than a decade of ace performance that included three 20-win seasons, Cy Young Award votes in seven seasons and Most Valuable Player Award votes in five. As for those who played during the period of PED use, I won't vote for any of them.

:smh:

Question brehs, so apparently Maddux isn't going in the HOF with a logo on his cap ... says he sees himself as an equal Cub/Brave. Spent 11 in Chicago and 12 in Atlanta I believe.

Am I wrong for thinking he should go in as a Brave? I know he started and ended with the Cubbies, but his Braves accomplishments >>

Listening to his interview, I see why he chose to go in without a logo. Most will remember as a Brave, but he spent nearly the same amount of time in Chicago.

Freeman locked up til he's 32, but Heyward will be a FA in two years at 27 :blessed: :wow:
If Heyward winds up a Yankee :merchant: He'd hit 40 HRs there :whew:
