Yankees interested in David Freese :bryan:

@jfkennedy this is something we talked about. I wonder what it would cost though

I don't think the Yanks have anything to offer the Cards that'll get it done. You guys have some nice prospects but they're like 2 or 3 years away. Freese would hit well there though, he hits a lot of deep balls to right.

And people wonder why Mets fans are depressed and drink. Today Mets owner Jeff Wilpon came out and said the Mets are working on something and something is imminent, they're juggling 3,4,5 different things right now. Before I go any further, former Mets co-owner, Nelson Doubleday is on the record as saying the Mets will never win a thing as long as Jeff is involved. A rival executive once stated Jeff is one of the dumbest men in the game. Just some background on Jeff Wilpon if you didn't know already. Shortly after that, the press asked Mets GM, Sandy Alderson if a move was imminent, Jeff said a move was imminent....Alderson had no clue whatsoever and mentioned the Mets had yet to meet with any players. Now before I go any further, you're dealing with an incredibly apathetic fan base, and the few die hards left are infuriated with how the franchise has been run. Well the move that was imminent came out today and that move was the announcement of the Mets promotional calender. Don't worry all is well because they have post game concerts feturing Huey Lewis and the News and Boyz 2 Men and free t-shirt Friday.

And people wonder why our season threads deal with depression and alcoholism.

:wow:This is straight out of the circa 2005 Pirates playbook.

Sorry breh.
