We need it too because unlike other teams we don't really hit homeruns a lot and get those quick points. I don't know how they're doing it, lol ...

:merchant:

God damn I hate this Braves team without Heyward.

:childplease: @ Justin Upton getting ejected last night as he was running up the 1st base line after grounding out.

He yelled "fukk" after grounding out. Apparently the ump thought that was grounds to run him.

There is literally NOTHING that annoys me more than people calling runs, points. People like that instantly lose all credibility.

That's not a brain lapse.

And in the last few weeks you've pointed to batting average and fielding percentage as metrics worth caring about, sooooooooooooooooooooo........

Don't be an a$$hole. If I post in a basketball thread, and then immediately after in here, it's easy to write points instead of runs.

AND, you're being an idiot because the batting average comment was in regards to someone saying, "oh, well McCutchen is batting .317" ... well, okay, and Yadi is batting .337. It makes what Yadi is batting THAT much more impressive. I wasn't the one who initiated the batting average comment.

And as far as fielding percentage, that was in regards to me not wanting to look up advanced fielding stats on my phone. But him committing 5 errors this season as opposed to 1 last season, in 100 less chances is an equitable statistic.

Neither were mentioned as something someone should care about, they were just simple rebuttals.

:whoa:

I only brought up batting average because it is the only thing he has on McCutchen in offensive stats and I was just saying that even though he has him beat, McCutchen is no slouch at the plate
.

Nah, I know. I didn't even make a big deal of it because it was 100% valid, just said my reply back and that was that.

And I also didn't even trip on your reply to my "points" comment because it was a brain fart. I saw it and lol'd.

Lol, @HHR is cool and all, but can't be in here sounding like some supreme baseball dictator in the main baseball thread we have that can't even get stickied. Make nikkas feel they can't even comment w/o reading their shyt over 5 times less they all of a sudden "lose all credibility."

Molina's batting average as a catcher > McCutchen's average as a center fielder IMO

I have Molina as NL MVP. That awful stretch the Cardinals had while he was out helps his case as well.
