the current Astros core and what they have built over the last few years is incredible. they won the WS in 2017, and arguably only lost in the ALCS last season because of countless injuries (Altuve played hurt and had to have surgery the day after the final game, Correa out, Springer played hurt, etc.)

anything can happen in the playoffs, but they definitely the team to beat again this season.

Said this multiple times. If Correa can limp through the offs and be productive it’s an unfair advantage. If he can’t go then all the top 3 teams are pretty even.

I’m actually glad we are seeing the Rays, A’s give us problems and their best pitcher Morton got haaaaaamerred last outing against us.

And 2 aces in McKay and Honeywell(if he can stay healthy) Honeywell struck out vlad jr,eloy,Alex verdego and Ahmed Rosario in the futures game in ‘17 but been injured the last 2 years

And they traded their #2 prospect sanchez to Miami if they had resources to add payroll they’d be a problem

They gotta move the Rays in a better market. They can't make the proper moves when they have 100 people in the stands.

I say it all the time. baseball postseason is crapshoot. All it takes is a team to get hot at the right moment and ride it throughout the playoffs. Guys can go into a slump like nothing.
