The Ravens are hiring Los Angeles Chargers defensive coordinator Jesse Minter as their next head coach, the team announced Thursday.

Monken did forget the run game at critical points the last 3 years, but I would have tried to run it back.

Yeah Monken is better than a lot of the guys they are interviewing imo. I would take a chance on Scheelhaase before Brady or Kingsbury.

I hope we can get Scheelhaase before Pittsburgh grab him up with Shula. If they go with Kliff, maybe he’ll tweak his style a bit since he’ll have the King in the backfield. We’ll see. But the more I read up on Minter, he’s the best fit. We got that X’s and O’s guy who gonna get our defense right. A lot of us wish we promoted MacDonald, well this the closest thing. We gonna be straight!

Defensive head coach....with a team that racked up the most ROAD rushing yards last season should make for a competitive playoff team if we win the turnover battles.

Ravens just needed a defense to compliment the offense and the HC be strong enough to tell him to stick to the run.

None of these guys are Roman bad. However, they each have their cons.

Kingsbury can forget the Run (out of traditional formations) and protections potentially risks Lamar.

Brady did a good job dialing Josh Allen back/cutting down turnovers. However, his offense could get too conservative at times.

Felt like outside of a few games it was more more the Ravens beating themselves the last few years. Just would have worked that shyt out with Monken.

However, change could be good.

hes a great leader and will be more of a CEO type of HC similar to Harbaugh but we needed a a Xs & Os coach

If they do hire minter this is the organization admitting they fukk up by letting Mike Macdonald go we had a mfering coach in waiting as I said right in house, with the better defensive philosophy imo
