Wow I did not expect that. I really thought they were going to go with Schwartz. I agree I think he's a great hire for the Browns.

Good for the Browns but I imagine Schwartz even if he won’t say it publicly probably feels a way.
Monken did well as an OC but I wonder how he’ll work as a HC.

Hollywood said 5 years ago what’s the point of having soldiers if you never use them. It’s funny to think about that tweet now but hopefully that’s the mindset going forward.No more favorites and keeping dudes in just because. Play the best players and get guys involved.
Minter doesn’t need to be Macdonald 2.0. If he can get close though, that’s enough.
I know the players wanted to defend Orr and they blamed themselves on their lack of execution but no way two years in a row the defense should start off that bad.
And the most important thing is no more blowing the game in the 4th quarter. That shyt can’t keep happening. I truly believe the 2025 season goes completely different if they win that 1st game against Buffalo.

Different in what way? A lot of the problems we saw in 2025 we happening in previous years. We smoked the Bills in the 2024 season and still lost to them in the playoffs.

You’re right. Maybe I’m thinking too hard about it.
There definitely would have been issues but I think to lose the 1st game of the season like that in prime time by 1 point and the way it happened felt like a mental cross roads moment.
