I dont think we're gonna extend him but I can see us picking up his 5th year and trading him next offseason

DK got 33 mill per and Garrett Wilson got 32.5 mill per so Zay gonna be looking for something in the same range or more

history has shown us that we are always at the bottom of the league when it comes to money spent at WR so I cant imagine us giving Zay 35 mill per nor do I think hes gonna sign for less then market value

this is why Ive been saying WR is our biggest need outside of oline and dline

we only have Zay and hes probably only gonna be here for 1 more season

we need to add 2 quality receivers this offseason...and not any of these 30+ washed up dudes who we usually bring in every year

context clearly missing. We are at the bottom cuz we haven’t drafted productive WR. Torrey smith is the only decent one in history and he is miles below Zay who has back to back pro bowl seasons and is Lamar’s guy. He will have his option picked up and will 100% be signed to a long term extension. They should still draft a guy so we have cheap labor next to his coming big deal.

Trade Zay prior to or during 2027 draft.
But I prefer extending Zay

Zay is closer to Jaylen Waddle, Devonta Smith, and Tee Higgins than prime Tyreek, AJ, or Chase. but you still sign him until we finally get the prototype X WR to put next to him. A high end WR2 is something the Ravens have never had.
