Yeah I'm not ready to give up on Marlo. Yes he was getting pick on last season but I think a move to safety and an improve pass rush will lead to a bounce back season for him. I'm hoping we can keep Chido, I thought he had a good season for us even with the issues we had on defense.
Yea he was All Pro just two seasons ago. I think he still has a little left in the tank. I think he’d flourish at the back of the defense. I think Starks would play better at strong safety too. Now u can really move Hamilton all over the place and keep him off the line of scrimmage. Adding Crosby gives them a ton of options

Most of these dudes are way past their prime and need to be schemed to get to the QB. Crosby doesn’t need that. He still gets to the QB even while being double teamed and he plays the run well. Mike Green coming into his second season should eat playing opposite him

so you don’t think adding two of those EDGE rushers is better than trading for Max and giving up (2) first rounders

IMO - signing Chubb who is the same age as Cosby …then… signing Clowney who is 33 & had 8 1/2 sacks in only 13 games = better production
When you evaluate their salary plus keeping your (2) first round picks

Can't stand this maga neanderthal but he's a good football player. Glad he's out of the division. Minter will get that defense right.

and that’s another reason I’m not a fan of this trade for the ravens

Cause I remember two seasons ago when you had the whole debate between who should be the MVP Lamar or Josh and Cosby came on good morning football and the crew asked him who should be the MVP and we all know who he said,

and then when they mention Lamar
He gave that look

well, all I’m saying is that this year you have abundance of EDGE rushes who are free agents so why would you trade two first rounders when you could sign two EDGE for the price of Cosby?

K Mack
B Cubb
T Hendrickson
C Jordan
O Owah
J Clowney
J Phillips
J Bosa

and to each his own, but I think every franchise would choose Micah over Max
only reason teams would choose Micah over Maxx is age

hes definitely not a better football player or leader

Maxx at 29m per>>>>>>>Micah at 46m per

Well, since it looks like we're officially in all-in mode now (:wow: :wow: :wow: ), do we end up just giving Lindy whatever he wants?

I don’t think he’s coming back

Raiders are willing to spend

Hes gonna reset the center market by alot
Marlon was trash last season. But so was the secondary as a whole mostly becuz there was no pass rush. Adding Crosby immediately makes the secondary better. I think Marlon takes a pay cut and they move him to safety. He’s always been better when the game is being played in front of him anyway
I don’t know why yall think Marlon would be a good safety

Hes only good playing around the LOS and yall want to put him at a position thats gonna take him further away from the LOS

if hes not playing the slot hes useless and my guess is Minter will be using Kyle in the slot alot so why are we keeping Marlon

he’s still gonna get cooked on the outside even with a better pass rush because he’s slow and teams know it

even old ass Adam Thielen beat him deep last season and hes slow af

This is a part of why I don’t like DeCosta as a GM

A good GM wouldve been got rid of Marlon,Andrews, and Roquon

DeCosta puts too much stock into relationships and continuity

I think Marlon’s issue is when he has to matchup one on one on the outside. He’s not good when he has to turn and run with receivers. He’s good at the LOS but he’s also fine when everything is in front of him. If they do cut him tho I think they need to bring back Ardarious. Actually I think they need to bring him back regardless

I do think Chubb woulda been a good option. But there’s no guarantee he signed here. Two first round picks is steep but I see why they did it. I don’t think they felt like they needed to sign two pass rushers with Mike Green on the roster. That might hurt his development. He should flourish playing opposite of Crosby.

This is also the reason I like this trade. I feel like it's going to help our young guys development tremendously. With this trade and Minter coaching, I expect Green to be a problem in the next 2-3 years.

I think he’ll be a problem this season. He was getting after the QB alot toward the end of the season he just couldn’t finish
